O my gosh! Just looking at it makes me feel like I have bugs all over me! What kind is it anyway? It looks like a spider! Ahhhh!!! I think I'm going to make a run to the store today and get some bug spray! I can't live like this! I don't like picking them up. Even with a paper towel. But what if i leave it and it has babies in that big part of it and they come out and get everywhere!?!?! HELP ME!AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! So I just got a bunch of paper towels and tried to push it into a cup but then it started to MOVE!!!! I screamed! and then just put the glass over it. I HATE BUGS! Why did God create them?

ReplyDeleteThat spider looks dangerous! What if they are crawling on you at night and you don't know?! I put cups over them too and wait for Max to get home to pick them up. Sometimes I spray them with hairspray or 409. And then put a cup over them. That will kill them!
ReplyDeleteThat is what i do! When I lived back at home I would always go get my hairspray and spray them so they couldn't move. I probably used more hairspray on bugs than on my own hair.
ReplyDeleteI hate bugs too Melanie and now I've created little ones who hate bugs! That is quite the spider though - I think I would have screamed too. So have you seen more than one?
ReplyDeleteNo. That is the only one I have seen but I'm afraid there are more. I'm goint to spray outside next week around the windows and door. I'm going to try to teach my kids to not be afraid of bugs so that they can then kill them for me. haha.

Mel--I'm no insectologist, but that spider looks like it's packing an egg sac. I hope you killed the babies too. That sounds sadistic, but I'm sure you don't want hundreds of huge spiders running around. And btw, you're right--that is big! --Robbie
ReplyDeleteThat's what I did Mel. Alex and Jared are great little bug killers. They are trained to go and get a shoe. I taught them not to use mine of course, and they will hit it, and get a kleenex and pick it up and throw it away. Sorry they aren't there to help you.
